Alaska day 2

Again the weather was amazing!  I had packed for very cold temperatures and am not complaining that it is 25 degrees outside!  I was expecting temperatures to go as low as -40 (40 below 0)!  Ask a local and they will say it is a heat wave outside.  You can definitely tell by looking at our heavy jackets we are not locals.  I thought we should put the sled to more use and headed out to a local hill to play in the snow!  Nothing but smiles . . .

He had a blast and the best $20 I spent was on that sled!  It was a beautiful day. 

It is nice to sort of do something low key for a change and just enjoy being with each other!  I am amazed how laid back I am the last few days . . . we usually have seen at least a dozen places by now.  I must admit it has been nice to relax!
