Day 9: Labadee, Haiti

Today is our last port of call for the cruise . . . Labadee, Haiti.  Before we get off we head to the dining room for breakfast.  I love to go have a big breakfast one morning with my favorite, Eggs Benedict!  I had been waiting all week . . .
While it wasn't the best, it was okay . . . just okay.  In Labadee the cruise has a privately owned resort for guest of Royal Caribbean ships.  It was going to be a beach day and just hanging out.
The excursions are somewhat limited so we are staying close by and just doing things at the resort.  Colin and I did the Dragon's Tail Coaster . . .
I decided to take photos while zooming down the trail . . .
We survived and had fun . . .
After the first ride you can ride again for the low price of $10!  This really isn't bad considering the first ride was much more and the second rider is free so we paid to ride again before we left later in the day.  We headed to our shaded beach chairs and enjoyed the fun in the sun day at the beach.  Colin took the camera back out to snorkel . . .

The lunch was yummy especially the salads and fruit!
Colin and my dad did the Dragon's Breath Zipline . . . it is a 2,600 foot long line that starts 500 feet above the beach and you travel 40-50 miles per hour; I was not the least bit interested.  random photo from the internet
 Of course he loved it!
My mom made sure her feet were firmly planted in the sand!  Before heading back to the ship Colin and I did our last Dragon's Tail Coaster ride.  We switched it up a bit and I rode in the front while Colin drove . . .
What was I thinking?  As you can tell I was holding on for dear life!
. . . and I tried to take photos . . . I did not like being in the front at all!  It felt as if I was going to fall off the entire ride.
I was so glad when it was over and so glad there isn't a video of that because it was a bit scary for me!  He laughed the entire time, and I spoke naughty words!  The ship brought us air conditioning and food . . . we grabbed a quick snack before heading to the room to shower and relax before dinner.  Yes, we ate again!  We had some visitors waiting on us when we returned to our room . . .
