Day 1: setting sail

It was a quick turn around for trips but today we boarded the Liberty of the Seas.  I was amazed at how quick we got on the ship.  We made our way to the Windjammer for a quick lunch and then out to explore the ship before finding our cabin, 8625.

Our cabin was an inside with a view of the promenade.  I was worried about the noise but we never heard the music or any noise for that matter.  I do admit I missed the balcony!  It was fun to sit and watch the people below or across but usually kept our blinds closed so we didn't have any embarrassing moments.

We were soon informed that we would be delayed leaving by four hours so that work on some internet equipment could be completed.  We unpacked our bags and did a lot of hanging out.  As we found our table for dinner at 8:00pm sharp it was good bye Galveston.
