Today we stop in Cozumel, Mexico . . . which is probably one of my favorite cruise ports. There is always something to do here! This is our only excursion that we booked with the cruise ship. We will be going snorkeling and stop at a starfish sanctuary. We had some time so walked around and did a little shopping before meeting our group. Thankfully the group was small and enjoyable. It was about an hour boat ride to the area we would snorkel but not a problem as it is a beautiful, sunny, hot day!
The snorkeling was just okay . . .
We had fun. While the group was small everyone seemed to bunch up as soon as we hit the water and it was not enjoyable. The second stop at the starfish sanctuary was beautiful . . .
The water was amazing . . . but I only saw one starfish . . .
Apparently from my photos I just stood in the water drinking rum punch and margaritas!
Colin finally joined us . . . he took off as soon as you could get in the water and by the guide so he can be in the front . . .
Oh and as I went to climb the ladder to get back on the boat . . . all those drinks hit me! The boat ride back was fun . . . music, dancing, drinks, and someone wasn't so amused by me having a good time . . .
It was back to do a little shopping and nap before dinner! Tonight was lobster night at dinner. I didn't take a photo but Colin only had one steak and seven lobster tails.
