Normandy, day 3

We are leaving the area but have one more stop on our D-Day tour . . . Pegasus Bridge . . .

The original bridge has been removed and is at the museum. I really knew nothing about the bridge other than the name . . . you can read more about it here. The museum is very nice both inside and outside. It was a short stop but time to move on to the next town. We are not visiting any more D-Day sites. I had planned to do this last year but cancelled . . . I am so glad we did it this year!
