Anderson, Texas

Today I took a little road trip south to a small town called Anderson.  I have never been and honestly there is not much in the town.  What brought me here was a brochure I picked up earlier in the summer while visiting another Texas Historic Site.  Today I am checking out the Fanthrop Inn State Historical Site.  Of course I arrived before it opened and only the two workers were there.  I was able to walk around and read all the signs about why this place was so historic.
The moss on the tree was just amazing!  It was just nice to wander inside and outside.
And explore around the grounds to the stagecoach barn . . .
It was well worth the visit!
