Thank goodness for a sea day! I did not realize how tired I would be with the daily port stops. I slept terrible last night. I guess it sort of goes with the sea day schedule. Sleep, eat, relax, nap, repeat all day long . . . at least there is not a time change on this cruise!
As soon as breakfast opened at 8am, I finally got up and got out the door. I like to eat breakfast in the main dining room at least once and today is the day. My favorite Benedict Classic with a side of bacon and tea, water, OJ. It is a great people watching time too and I always get asked if I am by myself.
I attended a free Backstage Tour and it was interesting; nothing amazing but fun to see a part of the ship that you are normally not allowed to go.
I took a quick nap and had a visitor . . . ribbit ribbit . . .
Rolled out of bed for a light lunch in the MDR; Caesar Salad with shrimp and a side of mozzarella sticks
Another power nap before exploring the ship and found myself at the Viking Crown Lounge. It’s day 6 and I had no idea this place existed; great views. I spaced my free drinks out today. Casino Bar: Scarlett’s Tropical Sangria and Espresso Martini at the Viking Crown Lounge.
Then it was back to napping and eating dinner in the MDR because it was lobster tail night!
For the first time in a very long time I had 3 meals today . . . guess I better hit the walking track soon!
