Fort Worth, Texas

Fort Worth is one of my favorite places in Texas!  When one of my friends said she would be there for work, I said come early; I will pick you up!  We had a busy day!  First stop:  Babe’s Chicken House . . .

Then on to our respective hotels.  She stayed at the fancy Drover which was amazing!  It is worth just popping in the lobby to get a look around!

I stayed across the street at the Hyatt Place with points; it was plain and simple!  But this is a great location for all things to visit in the stockyards!  

We made a quick change and headed to the stockyards!  It was packed.  Oh by the way it was Texas Independence Day; I had no idea.  We had tickets to attended the Ultimate Bullfighters (no animals were harmed) . . . it was something neither had ever done but it was a lot of fun! 

. . . but these guys are crazy!  It was a quick trip but fun to hang out and catch up in such a fun city!
