Day 13: South Dakota to Colorado

It is the longest drive of our trip . . . the final drive from Rapid City, SD to Denver, CO.  It was a very long day of driving.  At this point you just want to be at your final destination.  I was so happy to pull into the Embassy Suites next to Denver International Airport.  I was looking forward to a good night's sleep.  Unfortunately, Colin woke up around 2am with a fever . . . thankfully it was the last night of the trip!
