Austin, Texas

We made an after Thanksgiving trip south to Austin to visit the Sims family.  It is always good for Colin to spend time with his cousins.  He had his first taste of Korean food and enjoyed the bulgogi.  Since the weather was SO awesome, we headed to Zilker Park with the rest of the city of Austin . . . man was it crowded!  We got in the line to rider the Zilker Zephyr only to be the next train with tickets in hand waiting by the gate and the train malfunctioned . . . so close!  So what does one do to satisfy kids? 

Yes, you go throw rocks . . . and play baseball and soccer all in the course of about 15 minutes!  Well after all that burned energy one must then refuel and head to the Big Top Candy Shop too!  Nothing like sugar overload at the expense of the adults.  A final stop at the Four Seasons Hotel to check out the Gingerbread Village that was inspired by Who-ville . . .
