. . . on Royal Caribbean room service is complimentary (6am-midnight) but it is nice to give the delivery person a few bucks for a tip. The fruit plate was my favorite well with the iced tea too . . .
. . . the sleeping prince decided to wake up too . . .
. . . he has a rough, rough life you know! We get our gear on and off the ship in record time. The intercom announcements said to exit at the back of the ship but our room was at the front so we took the chance and hardly anyone was exiting at the front. So there is a group of about 20 people waiting at the top of the steps on the 2nd floor . . . two pushy women push their way through to go down to the 1st floor only to be turned back as they were not ready for us to exit yet. Oh you so know where this is going . . . instead of them climbing back to the top of the steps where everyone else is and has been waiting they just plop themselves on the steps. One lady was not too happy with them and became mouthy but the two large women did not budge. I shook my head and laughed that there is always one that thinks they are above the rules. I guess that 10 feet lead really helped her out because once we got off the boat we walked right past her slow moving body! Our excursion was to visit the ruins of San Gervasio and then have a beach break too. We have been to several ruins sites and these were by far the smallest but good too.
Can you imagine traveling on this road?
I had a hard time walking with shoes on so guess they had really tough feet. These things were everywhere I turned and was not a fan . . .Our guide, Gabriel, was excellent and so knowledgeable. As we were listening to him talk, this is what Colin was doing . . .
. . . and after I snapped the photo he mumbled, "I am never doing this again!" Two ladies in our group thought it was hilarious; me not so much but I could not resist taking a few photos; Colin was not so amused. We continued the tour even though someone was so tired and so hot. I
. . . you take what you can get and someday I can say, "Remember that time we were on a cruise and you . . . .." I enjoyed it but it was stinking hot outside. And as we were leaving this decided to scurry down the tree and totally scare me . . .
You know what makes it all better?
. . . ice cream! Back on the bus for a quick ride to the beach. Oh how that frown turns right side up so quickly . . .
He had a blast swimming and playing . . .
I just waded in the water and enjoyed the crystal clear views . . .
. . . and stalked fish too.
We finished our excursion and decided to get back on the boat early.
It felt like a ghost town. We had a snack since dinner wasn't until 8pm and hardly anyone was on board. I decided to take a nap which was so nice. Then decided to go to deck 4 and walk . . . yep, I walked laps because if I continue eating like this the next 5 days . . . well, you get the point. Colin and my parents went to play bingo, bingo, bingo . . . they did not win, but Colin is hooked! Just like that we pulled away from the dock; so long Cozumel . . .
