to Virginia Beach

One thing I have noticed in the area is the traffic . . . how do people do this day after day?  I was worried of being stuck on the bridge or the tunnel so we left Williamsburg early plus we had to be back by 11:00am for a planned event with all the boy cousins.  Colin was beyond words excited . . . his crazy cousins wanted to take him to experience paintball.  He has been asking to go for years.  So we could not be late.  I was totally shocked that we never slowed down and breezed right through the tunnel . . . of course it was before 10am on a Sunday so that was probably the reason too.  So we make it with tons of time before our game time and time could not tick by fast enough for this overly excited boy.  Eagerly waiting for the safety briefing . . .

All geared up and ready to go . . .

We stayed to watch for a little bit and after the first game he was so excited and couldn't wait for game two.  Of course maybe he liked it so much because he did not get hit the first game, LOL.  Since the boys were doing boy things, I took the lone girl cousin for girl time pedicures.  We had fun.  The boys returned home all hot, sweaty, and exhausted.  Colin had a battle wound that made me hurt . . .

. . . I am not sure when or if he will return to paintball.  We all enjoyed an evening at home with a yummy cookout.
