Mainly because I wanted to eat at the Greek place again. No, I wanted to see what it was like in the summer since last time I was there it was in January. The hotel dropped us off at the light rail at Sea-Tac airport and in less than 40 minutes we were downtown. I was amazed how crowded it was for a Sunday morning . . . loved walking around and seeing all the fresh produce and flowers. . .
. . . I would so love to live in a town with a great market and great public transportation. Well and a place I could buy amazing bouquets of flowers for only $5 or $10 too! The prices on the flowers were just amazing. It wasn't even 11 yet but Mr. D's Greek Deli was open so you bet I ordered my chicken gyro . . .
. . . oh my goodness it was so yummy!
Since I ate that rather quickly it was back to walking around and enjoying the nice cool morning and more flowers and produce . . .
After a few hours, it was time to eat again; well not really but I could not pass up a chance for German food so we stopped at Bavarian Meats . . .
. . . I even tried a grapefruit beer. It was refreshing. By this point I was stuffed and ready to head back to the hotel. I bought some Rainier Cherries . . .
. . . and back to the light rail we went. My flight was at 11:25pm so needed to pack and head to the airport for my night flight to Texas. And before I left for the airport, I so ate the rest of the spatzle with rahm sauce! I can't believe the end has come . . . it was a great two weeks.

I do not like beer but Shiner makes one called Ruby Red, a grapefruit beer. It is worth trying.
