Next stop: Texas State Aquarium so at least we are indoors because it is still cold and windy outside. It was fun to watch all the fish and creatures . . .
I loved the comb jellyfish . . .
. . . which actually looked like it had electric currents running through it. My other favorite was the Pacific Sea Nettle . . .They were both so cool that I could watch them for a long time. Colin loved touching the small sharks and sting rays . . .
And of course there is always the take a photo and never, ever pay the ridiculous $30 for a 5x7, but download it for free . . .
We drove down the street to a beach area to look for shells. As Colin was frolicking in the sand, I found a bag of old popcorn so started feeding the seagulls from the nice heated car . . .
Colin wanted in on the fun . . .
Adios to the birds . . .
It was close to lunch time so we zipped into a place called Yo Cheese Steaks. It was really yummy! It was still early and too cold to be outdoors so we headed to see a movie. My parents went to see Unbroken . . . by the way I don't think they have been to a movie theater in over 20 years! Colin and I went to see Night at the Museum 3 which was cute. It was getting late so back to the hotel we went to hang out and relax!
