As usual Colin had fun building and playing with an unlimited supply of bricks. I practiced standing and shifting my weight but that grew old so I joined the fun. Colin's favorite part is called Creation Nation. You have huge tubs of endless bricks to build something to add to a huge map of the USA. He usually plans to go big and tall but today he held back . . .
I wanted a free Lego too so joined the fun . . .
. . . finally have a girly themed Lego (Elves) in our house now! Then there was no more just standing around for me but was all over participating! I mean who doesn't love Legos? It was off to the Ninjago area to battle it out . . .
. . . all my men fell off as soon as I gave the thing a spin. Oh well we had fun! Off to build some more at the Monochromatic Build area where all the bricks were 2x4 size and purple! I thought he was being overambitious with his idea of building a battleship with planes but was impressed when he was finished!
. . . he even added a PT boat. He was so proud of his creation and would often circle by that area to make sure no one had destroyed it! When he stopped by once and a plane was missing, he quickly built another one. No matter what he also loves the Big Brick Pile and just rolls around and builds while completely surrounded by thousands of bricks . . .
. . . while I sit in a chair and think about all the germs reminding myself don't rub my eyes for fear of catching pink eye. We both had fun and headed back home to enjoy our last day of summer.
