Las Vegas, Nevada day 2

We had explored the strip enough so decided to head out of town.  We picked up the rental car and made our first stop . . .
. . . was going to do this when we arrived but forgot to ask the cab driver to go that way.  Oh well . . . we had a later start this morning so we were hungry.  We had all heard about a place called Crepe Expectations on a Food Network Show so decided to try and find it!  It was actually on our way out of town so had an early lunch.  We ordered three different crepes (2 savory and 1 sweet) and shared.  They were all so fresh and yummy!
Back on the road where we would stop at Hoover Dam . . .
We had tickets for the power plant tour and were able to get look inside . . .
. . . totally worth the ticket.  Of course we heard just about every 'dam' joke ever written but it was fun.  Our tour guide was good, and I will admit it was so dam hot.  Oh and I can't take selfies!
Back on the road . . .
Our next stop was at Red Rock Canyon.  It was a nice drive even if it was a bit out of the way.  We drove the scenic loop road making stops a few times to take photos.
It was back to Vegas to drop off the rental and spend our last night in Vegas on the town in downtown at Freemont Street.  We all enjoyed being in the old part of Vegas . . . so much easier to walk around than on the strip which requires up, down, escalators, walkways and so tiring and a pan just to go a couple of blocks.  Today we were slackers and only walked 2.7 miles but drove 124 miles.
