The fun continues with more walking the strip. Thankfully we were up and out early before it became too hot. The best part is you can just pop into a casino to cool off and back out in the heat again. At lunch time we were at the Venetian so stopped at Buddy V's Ristorante. Oh my the food was so yummy . . .
. . . and the portions were huge! Between the three of us we split a Chicken Parm and a Smashed Meatball Sub. Of course we were all full but insisted on dessert too! We ordered the Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake and across the way at Carlo's Bakery we had a cannoli and chocolate mouse cake . . .
. . . so yummy and so full too. The bakery items were amazing! It was time to hit the hot pavement and walk off some of those calories. We spent some time walking around the Wynn; which was beautiful . . .
. . . I loved these two creations made out of flowers . . . they all looked so real so we had to ask. The only real flowers are the ones at the bottom . . . I swear you could not tell the difference! We managed to walk down the strip until we couldn't go any more so turned around and headed to Serendipity 3 for a frozen hot chocolate!
. . . and to the hotel for a nap!
It was time for an early dinner at Tom's Urban before our show of the night . . . which Katie has proclaimed the best part of the trip . . . oh my goodness. Let me just say that the 21 year old got to pick the show. I would have so not picked this one but when you are 21. We still had time before the show so back to the New York-New York Casino to my favorite slot machine! Seriously, I went to the same one. It was across the street to the Excalibur we went for the longest 80 minutes of my life . . . now I know why there is the saying, "what happens in Vegas; stays in Vegas"
. . . I swear it felt like days and sooooo glad it is behind us . . . no words . . . NO WORDS. We walked back to the hotel and called it a night.
Today we walked 8.6 miles.
