Note to self . . . will be paying for Pre-Check as soon as possible!
Our flight was at the decent hour of 10:30am. We again took advantage of our Admiral Club pass and paid a visit to the Alaska Airlines Board Room . . .. . . I mean how can one complain sipping hot chocolate with a shot (or three) of Bailey's? And all for $0. It was nice and it was so beautiful out today too . . . Good Bye Seattle . . .
As we landed at DFW, our gate was occupied so we waited . . . and waited . . . and waited. About that time my phone went crazy with our connecting flight alerts . . .
. . . come on AA pick a gate! I began to stress because we only had 50 minutes (thanks to our flights late arrival; I always pick flights with more connection time) to make our connection to a different terminal. After about 30 minutes, the plane left and we pulled into our gate. We had 20 minutes to make it from Terminal A to Terminal B; I was hoping for a delay since our flight was one of those small planes taking us to our tiny airport. I told Colin we did not have time to play and had to be focused so we did not miss our flight. He informed me there would be no time for me to stop and the restroom and that we should run. So we literally ran . . . we arrived just after boarding time only to hear an announcement saying the pilot and first officer were not there. So we ran for nothing . . . I guess it all works out! We were delayed for over an hour but home we were headed so no big deal! It is hard to believe the week is already over.
