Well it amazes me how fast time goes when on a trip. I really prefer two week trips but education comes first so I guess a week is better than no days. It was an early start but back to Washington we went . . .
I loved crossing this super long bridge leaving Oregon and entering back into Washington. The plan was to head to downtown Seattle. Just two things on the agenda: Space Needle and Pike's Place Market . . . oh and I almost forgot my favorite thing is to eat a chicken yeero from Mr.D's Deli . . . I swear I can not come to Seattle without eating at least one! Oh and there was no time for a photo because I inhaled that thing! We walked to the Space Needle and it was a couple hour wait to go to the top so a selfie it was . . .
. . . I think I was more disappointed than Colin, and I have been to the top. All Colin really wanted to do was collect leaves, throw them in the air, and me snap a photo . . .
So we jumped on the monorail to head back to the center and were met with protesters.
Colin had never seen a protest before, and well he was a bit uneasy with all the loud chanting and the hundreds of police officers. By hundreds, I mean you could not walk two feet and they were everywhere! I was like wait let me take a photo. These type of protest can become violent so we quickly went on our way to walk around and watch for flying fish at Pike's Place Market. Colin loved the big shrimp, lobster, and fish! Time was a ticking so back to the airport we went to pack for our flight home tomorrow morning.
