Keystone, Colorado day 3

Back at it for Day 2 of Ski School . . . all smiles!
There were no real plans for today for the adults except my friend was to have a two hour lesson in the afternoon.  After the kids were dropped off, we headed out to explore the area on foot.  It was gorgeous . . .
We managed to walk almost 4 miles!  We had worked up an appetite so headed for lunch at Luigi's Pasta House . . . it was yummy!  My friend headed to her ski school and what does one do when no one wants to hang out with me?  Eat . . . I had this . . .
. . . a Turtle Crepe; chocolate, caramel, and walnuts . . . it was good but too sweet!  I then headed back to the condo to pack and clean up before we checked out later in the day.  I also managed to score a nap in front of the fireplace looking at the trees while watching it snow . . .
It was time to pick up the kids so off I went . . . as Colin entered the yard he said, "I'm so mad at you!"  Well, I love you too!  Apparently the straps on his ski pants came unhooked and his pants slipped off . . . no one saw anything but it annoyed him and naturally it was all my fault.  It seemed as if they had another successful day and managed to get right into the groove even though it had been two years!
All I asked for was ONE photo looking like he had a good time . . . and this is what I got!
. . . I guess I should have paid the $20 for the one the photographer took.  The kids were starving so back to Pizza On The Run.  The village at River Run is so nice and fun . . . always something going on and very family friendly.  A fun photo before hitting the road . . .
Why is my kid always making faces?  We loaded the car and it was DENVER or BUST . . . oh and a lot of traffic too; thankfully the roads were good and clear until we hit a small snow storm!
