to California

It is Spring Break here in Texas even though it sure doesn't feel like it outside.  We are headed west to California to hopefully enjoy some fun in the sun with a bit of relaxation too.  It has been a hectic, sad, stressful few days for me as I saw a six year relationship come to an end . . . so getting away will be good and a chance to clear my head and figure out what next.  When we wake up tomorrow, we have zero plans . . . nothing . . . can you believe that I have absolutely nothing planned?  Me either!  I do have hotels for the five nights, a rental car for two days, and Disneyland tickets for the last three days . . . so for the first time we are spending part of our trip as just go with the flow!  We shall see where it takes us . . . for now it is DFW to John Wayne airport in Orange County . . .

We were both so exhausted by the time we arrived at the hotel across the street from the airport. The funny thing was it was only 10pm California time so midnight Texas time! I was totally cranky and not in the mood for Colin's silliness.
