to Washington

Ahhhh the early flight . . . it always sounds so amazing when you book it but when you must get up and be there . . . well it doesn't sound so fun!  I booked the 5:29am flight out of our local airport . . . so needed to be there around 4:45am which meant I had to wake up way earlier than normal especially for a vacation.  All 49 passengers arrived and have cleared security by 5:15am, but the crew was no where to be found . . . true story . . . one of the counter workers was looking for them and at our departure time they were not there.  Well isn't this grand!  Apparently they had a late start but were there and prepping our plane.  I had plenty of time with a layover in Dallas but still rubbed me the wrong way!  So off I went from DFW to Seattle.

Breakfast was served . . .

. . . and I picked seat 5A specifically so I could see this amazing view . . .

. . . the weather was perfect and the view just amazing!

Let me say cameras were being passed and clicking away!  It was a perfectly clear day and Mount Rainier was majestic!  I can not wait to explore the area on foot for the next week!
