Apparently no one sat above our room last night because it was quiet, or I was so tired I passed out! I love that the cruise ship docked overnight in Bermuda, and we have another day to explore! Colin has his dolphin dip at Dolphin Quest so he is so excited . . . I swear it is ALL he has talked about the last 24 hours . . . we arrived early and waited so patiently for his turn . . .
. . . and then it was show time! I liked how there were 24 people, but they split the group up so you could have more interaction.
He loved his alone time with the dolphins the most . . .
. . . I think the non stop smile made it worth the cost. I don't think he stopped smiling the entire time! True Story! We were pressed for time since we had another afternoon excursion but had two postcards to mail. I could not find a store that would mail them for me so had to hike to the one and only mail drop in the area . . .
. . . it was pretty cool! We grabbed a pizza since I knew it would be hours before we would be back on board the ship. I told the lady we had 30 minutes to eat and she said no problem. I knew Bermuda had to be expensive . . . we have been eating on the ship before exiting. A small pizza of six slices was $18 which I did not mind paying and thankfully it tasted good too. We power walked to our meeting spot for our second snorkeling trip called Devils Isle Snorkel. Colin still milking the fish bite . . .
Again, there was a history lesson and landmarks pointed out . . . I stalked the weather for weeks before our trip and it was forecasted to be rain, rain, and more rain but no rain for us . . .
. . . Vixen shipwreck
And then we arrived to our stop and it was crowded with several other boats, bummer! The reef wasn't that clear but might have been for the fact there were a lot of people in the area. Colin enjoyed jumping off the top of the boat . . .
. . . I headed out to snorkel . . .
I just spent time in the water playing with the camera . . .
I had a Rum Swizzle which is apparently a local drink . . .
. . . Colin sort of just enjoyed life on the boat . . .
It was okay but wish I would have booked a trip to the beach instead. Next time that is what we will do . . . the two excursions were too similar with the Bermuda Triangle Shipwreck Snorkel yesterday being a lot better location to snorkel. We were the last group to arrive back at the dock so we were ushered directly to the ship.
It was time to be lazy and take a nap. We were planning to have dinner at American Icon again but three nights in a row was too much for me. I was under the impression the menu changed nightly so figured it would be fine but not so. The menu changes every four days. We put to test the concept of just walking up without a reservation, and we were seated within 2 minutes. We both really liked Chic . . . so much we made a reservation for tomorrow night too! We had a visitor when we returned to our cabin . . .
It was an early night to bed but Colin was starving so he zipped down stairs for a few slices of pizza! If only it was this easy at home!
