To make the day better it is only 55 degrees outside but my stomach is feeling not so well . . . but adventure awaits so off we go. First stop is Ruby Beach . . .
Then on to Hoh Rain Forest . . .
I am a very loyal Hilton Honors member and stay at one of their properties to keep my status and get the perks, but this area does not have any of their hotels which is really kind of nice. So instead I found this place called The Cabins at Beaver Creek and decided to go that route and use the area as base for a couple of days. I am really excited about the whole cabin thing as they look really nice! So after we ate we head to the grocery store to pick up some groceries because the cabin has a full kitchen! We arrive at the cabins and were quickly met by the owner, Michelle. She was a delight and took us to Cabin 4 to show us around . . . oh my gosh it is a delight and like a five star cabin. It was a great choice. We quickly unpack and head out to explore the property. The cabins are located on the Sol Doc River and Beaver Creek and the sound of rushing water is so relaxing.
I might not leave this place! We walk around on the land to see this old beautiful bridge . . .
. . . I finally saw a banana slug too . . . yuck they are huge!
Oh and the owners have animals and just had to visit the goats! So cute and friendly even though we had no food to share . . .
Also each evening John, the owner too, makes a fire and puts out supplies for s'mores . . .
Did I mention I might not leave? Seriously this place is amazing!
Wow, Heidi, those are some GREAT photos!!! Looks like a really fun trip!!!
