Arizona day 2

So the room is delightful except one thing, the toilet.  I did not take a photo of the bathroom but it is huge and very nice!  The issue with the toilet is it takes forever to refill when you flush it . . . I swear it was like 5 minutes when I got up in the middle of the night.  Before we left the room I decided to time it.  Well it is actually 2:00.32 to be exact.  We were up and off to breakfast to spend our $50 voucher . . . no way would I ever spend that much out of pocket on breakfast!  Since they did not have the buffet we were able to order off the menu which is exactly what I wanted to do anyway.  The menu had many choices but went for the Crab Cake Benedict . . .
. . . with a small fruit plate which was enough for 5 people . . .
The fruit was amazing; look at all those berries!  Colin had bacon and eggs.  Our breakfast bill was $45 . . . and off to the putting green for a round of golf . . .
And off to the pool we went.  I did not take one single photo at the pool but trust me it was a delight!  I think I took a nap but don't remember.  Colin went down the slide a hundred times, and I joined him once or twice.  It was nice to lay by the pool and jump in to cool off too.  Colin was hungry so we go back to eat with our $62 voucher in hand.  I was not hungry so just ordered a small tortilla soup which turned out to be too salty . . .
. . . and of course we ordered it again . . .
We managed to spend $48 of our voucher.  It really did bother me that we did not spend it all but didn't want to order food we would not eat either.  It was back to the room to nap which apparently I was tired since I slept for two hours!  I got up and took a walk around the grounds . . . it really is pretty spectacular!
The patio . . . I did stop and try to light the fire pit with no success.
Still annoys me about the fire pit but just another reason to go back when it is not hot.  I returned to change clothes for dinner and off we went.  It was nice outside . . . which means it was in the low 90s so we ate outside . . . hey there are no mosquitoes so why not?  I was surprised at how quickly it became dark out, but we stayed outside.  I think meatloaf is one of those foods you grow up eating at home and no one makes it as good as your mom;  the meatloaf was really good . . . trust me it is under all those crispy onions and under the yummy cheesy mashed potatoes with spinach . . .
Our dinner meal was $82 . . . we are really stuffed by this point but why not?
. . . and since we still had money left on our voucher I also ordered my own dessert . . .
We walked around the hotel a bit debating whether to swim or not swim . . . Colin decided he was ready for the robe so back to the room we went!
