Texas Road Trip: Spring Break day 7

After the disaster of driving in circles and missing exits more times than I can count last night, we decided to sleep late and not leave early as planned.  We really only had one thing on our to do list so we had no rush since the appointment wasn't until afternoon.  I had no idea where I was going so wanted to find the place and then we grabbed lunch and did some shopping for new shirts for Colin.  He has hit a growth spurt and none of his clothes fit . . . how does one go from youth large to men medium?  So after 8 new shirts I would call it a successful shopping trip.  Today is our last day on the Spring Break Texas Road Trip before heading home for a couple days to hang out before back to work and school.  We decided to show up early at the NAS (Naval Air Station) Fort Worth for Colin's appointment, and they were able to see us two hours early!  So nice and friendly not to mention there was no hassle about why our sponsor wasn't present to renew Colin's military ID card.  So he is good to go for 4 more years!
We loaded up the car and headed south on I-35 on a Friday afternoon with our fingers crossed the traffic would be moving along . . . we were good until about 10 miles from our house but thankfully we knew where to exit and how to sneak home on the back roads!
