Yes I have on a sweatshirt . . . it was ONLY 75 degrees around 6pm . . . so much better than the triple digits at home. I already think it will be my favorite place on this visit!

Colorado Springs area
The best part crossing into Colorado was the speed limit increased to 75 and it was about 2 hours to our final destination!!! We arrived at our hotel and there were hours of daylight left so we headed out! As soon as we got into the car it started to rain and hail . . . great but we headed out anyway. Just down the street was the Garden of the Gods. What a way to start our stay in the area. We drove around the loop and pulled over so we could explore on foot . . .
