Costa Maya, Mexico

The boat wasn't arriving to the first port until later in the day so we had plenty of time to do some fun activities on board. The ice skating rink was open so we grabbed some skates and gave it our best triple axle . . . well we did good to stay upright and go in a line . . .
. . . I haven't ice skated since I was 5 years old and in Kindergarten! It wasn't too bad but it isn't something that I had been missing. I think Colin fell only once and I managed to stay upright the entire time but never ventured too far from the side either. Colin did pretty good since it was his first time! You could tell he was SO concentrating!

We both worked up a sweat. Colin was ready to head back to the rock climbing wall and miniature golf. We docked at the port at noon . . . crowded but easy to get off . . .
. . . you don't realize how big the boat is until you stand next to it! I wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived in port so we just went with the flow and shopped until our reservation at 2:30 to swim with the dolphins! And sometimes you capture those moments . . . the sun is in my eyes . . .
Luke was the name of our dolphin and he was about 2 years old . . .

. . . he was so cute! I don't think he wanted us to leave.
The ship was ready to sail so we got back on board to rest before dinner. There was big excitement at dinner because Colin lost his third tooth! He was over the moon and told everyone who came to the table.
The tooth fairy came to visit and apparently only has big bills while on vacation . . . must be because she has to fly over so much water!
