at Sea Day

We boarded the boat yesterday in record time. We literally checked in and were on board in about 15 minutes. I was shocked at how fast and easy the process was with Carnival; so not that easy or fast with Royal Caribbean. Now we just had to find something to do on board for the next 39 hours until our first port. Of course if all else fails you can always eat and sleep which I did a lot of while on board. I was a little nervous about the trip as Tropical Storm Ernesto had popped up but thankfully he was done and out of the way before we left Galveston. Now there is another storm brewing but hopefully we will be back before it hits the area. We explored the boat . . .
. . . and then decided it was time to start eating, again!  IT was a much smaller one that we were on in January.
It was a laid back day of a lot of not much:  eating, swimming, soaking up some sun, and relaxing!  I did manage to bring a dozen magazine to read.  The dinner tonight was considered Cruise Elegant . . . whatever that was suppose to mean.  Of course you had a little bit of everything, and I just wore a dress and was fine.  Colin did wear a dress shirt and pants and was fine too.  As we waited for dinner we walked through the casino.  He was amazed and could not understand why you had to be 18 to play!  I did not like that we had to walk through a smoky casino to get to dinner but soon found an alternate route!  Colin just wishing he could try his luck!

As you can see he thought he was going to play!  Can't wait to get off the boat tomorrow!
