Breckenridge, Colorado Ski Weekend day 2

Today is the day.  We had a very yummy breakfast before Colin gets dropped off at ski school, and I head out with snow shoes.  It is a win win day for the two of us!  I just love the Breckenridge Nordic Center.
I headed out on some of my old favorite trails:  Pence Miller, Little Red's, Foxy Loxy, and Willow.  It was a beautiful day and the sun tried oh so hard to come out!  The trails had a lot of snow which was fun!
Josie's Cabin is cool and great place to stop and warm up  . . .
We made the up hill trek to catch the gondola for a spin up to Peak 7, Peak 8, and then back to downtown Breck.  It was time to head to ski school to pick up the kiddos.  Today they were lucky to get to ski with a non ski school couple too.  They loved having the freedom to go and explore without a big group.  I think they will never want to go to ski school again!
On the walk back to the hotel, the kids filled us in on their day.  Apparently it wasn't the best experience of ski school, but they had fun.  The ski teacher got sick at lunch . . . they loved the morning guy, James . . . and then got a new guy for the afternoon.  They did not like him so much.  They said he treated them as if they had never skied, and it just wasn't good.  It is odd because in 5 years this is the first time any of the three have complained.  Sort of bothers me since ski school isn't cheap but at least they were out there on the slopes  Our ski/sea friends happened to have their cousins on the slopes today, and they took all three for one last run and boy did they have fun!

It was back to the hotel to warm up and relax before heading out for dinner.  The town was packed and every place had a wait time!  We managed to finally get a table at Ollie's which was okay.  We were all hungry!  It was back to the hotel to hang out before bed.
