Colorado Ski Weekend day 3

It was a leisurely wake up with breakfast before heading out of town.  Yes, just a one day ski trip which did not make Colin happy but one day is better than no days.  We headed up to Peak 8 to see if the Alpine Coaster was open but it wasn't due to all the recent snow.  Then headed to Frisco to see if we could go tubing again but it was all booked up too.  Thankfully they had these Zorbs Tumble Bumbles that sort of redeemed a bad day with a little fun.

They were all so tired after their turns. Colin enjoyed the snow as much as he could . . .

It was back in the car headed to Denver Airport.  Our friends were flying back to Chicago while we were spending the night at the Westin located at the Denver Airport.  It was beautiful with a hefty price tag too!  Of course knowing we had a 5:00am flight and we had to arrive around 3:30am no amount of money seemed like it was too much.  The view of the runway was nice . . .

. . . the pool was fabulous too!

. . . and room service was overpriced as usual but a nice treat!

It was fun to try and cram a lot of bulky ski gear in a suitcase . . . thank goodness for those compression bags!  It was a super early wake up . . . wonder how wrinkled my clothes would get if I sleep in them?
