I like to sew . . . mainly quilts which is the main reason I came to LaGrange, Texas; Texas Quilt Museum.
My quilting skills are no where comparable to these quilts on display but loved looking at them.
Back on the backroads of Texas with a stop in Brenham, Texas to tour the Blue Bell Ice Cream Factory. I love factory tours but this one was small and just through a window and no photos. It was fun that the workers below would look up at the viewing platform and wave from time to time. At the end of the tour you can sample one of the many flavors for just $1 per scoop!
As my Spring Break is ending, Colin's Spring Break is beginning. I drove over to College Station to have dinner with him. We celebrated the end of midterm exams which he did very well on! It was nice to be away from home and outdoors exploring again! Now I get him home for a week!
