Day 3: Jackson, Wyoming

Last summer we took advantage of the Blue Star Museum program for military families. I was happy to see the program was back again this year! We visited the National Museum of Wildlife Art just outside of Jackson. Great museum and it had one of the best areas for children too!  Some times he really gets into the museums I drag take him to visit . . .
Beautiful art work inside . . .

. . . and outside too!
We headed to the center of Jackson to walk around and enjoy the amazing weather.  We had a wonderful lunch at a place called Local Restaurant and Bar! The hamburger was great and Colin insisted on dessert! Chocolate Fondue it was . . .
. . . he is sure 'protecting' his dish, but he did share if you can believe that!  After the tasty lunch we really needed to walk some more! We walked so much we earned a scoop of ice cream at Moo's Gourmet Ice Cream . . . Huckleberry is a local flavor so gave it a taste! Not too bad. By this time I needed a nap so back to the hotel we went.  You can only hang out in a small hotel room so long so we headed back to the Elk Refuge to look for wildlife.  All that driving had us hungry. Colin picked pizza so dinner was at Mountain High Pizza Pie, yummy pizza and salad.  Back to the hotel for yet another relaxing sit in the whirlpool.
