Time for one last sunrise . . .
. . . and then we were off to JAX airport. We were both upgraded to first class, but there was a catch. I'm in 6A and Colin 3A. It hardly ever happens that we actually get the 'free' upgrades. I told him our seats were not together, but he was fine being alone next to a stranger. As the flight was boarding there was drama in the front and back of the plane. In the front across the aisle from me, a passenger couldn't get his tray table to go back into the armrest. It took two cockpit crew members, a ground crew member, and two flight attendants to get it fixed! Crazy! In the back, a passenger came to the flight attendant standing next to my seat and complained about a large man next to him and that he could not get into his window seat. The attendant went to check it out and then called the pilot. The flight was completely full so not sure how it was resolved since the complaining passenger and flight attendant went back to the back. With both issues resolved, we took off and I enjoyed my views . . .
. . . so many clouds and blue skies and no one next to me to help . . .
. . . and the food was yummy!
Colin slept most of the flight but did wake up for the warm chocolate chip cookies. Apparently he managed to talk the flight attendant out of a few extra cookies too. We safely arrived at DFW and quickly caught the shuttle to our car. It was a great trip but ready to get home. Colin's eye is . . . well . . .
. . . well it is purple! Thankfully he said it does not hurt!
