Day 1: Magic Kingdom

We left the airport hotel early to catch the Magical Express to our hotel . . . I was determined to be at the park when it opened. We dropped our bags around 8 am and were on our way . . . it was only a quick boat ride from the Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom so we quickly let the 'magic' begin . . .

1st ride . . .
1st character spotting . . .
It is just like I remembered from years ago with just a few new rides and attractions. We managed to finish 'Fantasyland' before the crowds arrived and headed to another part of the park before heading back to the hotel for a nap. Doesn't this face look like he needs a rest?
Well, maybe not but I sure did so we left the park. We returned later to ride a few more rides . . .

. . . we spent a lot time 'driving' the above cars before we head to dinner at Tony's. I had read mixed reviews with most being bad but the food was good but the service was a little slow BUT they had fresh brewed iced tea and as long as she continued to keep my glass full I was one happy camper! Calling it a night . . .

. . . I gave up!

  1. My kids loved the T-Rex cafe in Downtown Disney. The food was way overpriced, but it was pretty good.
