We really did all have a great time . . . we walked a lot and we ate well too! Our flight to Orlando was on Southwest . . . nothing exciting to report other than it was packed. On the way home we were on Jet Blue and I LOVE them! I loved the cheap fare and the fact we had an assigned seat and they had satellite TV for FREE! I will be flying them in the future!
The Dining Plan worked for us but I planned (I used Touring Plans to plan park days and crowd levels; membership is good until November if anyone wants me to look up anything) for months to figure out what park we were going to each day so I could make reservations . . . we stuck to our plan. We were hard charging the first few days and then took it easier towards the end which was nice. As you can tell from above, I really enjoyed the dining experiences! We did not have a bad meal except a counter meal at Magic Kingdom . . . Disney really needs better options at MK for food! We had the free Photo Pass where photographers throughout the park would take your photos and then you could look at them online when you got home; expensive but high quality. They would also take photos with your own camera for no charge . . . we got some good photos with the Photo Pass but more on our own camera. It was free so tried it. It was an easy trip . . . we spent very little money once we arrived but mainly because we got a very nice gift card as part of our package when we booked.
I used Fairy Godmother Travel. She was AMAZING and so helpful even with my million questions. I would use her again in a heartbeat. The package cost us exactly the same if I were to book it on the Disney website AND she continued to follow our reservation and found us the great deal with the $500 gift card! There was no pressure and if you are looking for help, contact Teresa and I'm sure she will help you too.
Hope to experience a little Disney 'magic' again soon . . .
. . . almost . . . not perfect . . . but good enough!
