We arrived before it opened and got an almost front row parking place. We wandered inside for the 'rope drop' and headed out. Most of the animals were out and about which was nice.
I was shocked that we hardly saw any other people which was SO nice! After a few hours, we made our way back to the front and encountered the massive crowds! I was glad we were about done and could escape to the hotel for some relaxing. Colin managed to swim for 4 hours. The hotel had a afternoon activity of cupcake decorating for the kids and cheese/wine tasting for the adults. It was nice and fun and FREE!
The evening was topped off watching fireworks and packing up to move on to a new location!
