Bahamas day 2

Today we are enjoying all that Atlantis has to offer!  Colin wanted to have a dolphin interaction . . .

 

 

. . . and then we headed to the water park.  So here is my complaint of the day.  Atlantis offers one day passes to cruise ship passengers.  Today there were at least three large ships in port so you can imagine how crowded it was and we found it difficult to find 2 chairs together.  Seriously, if I pay to stay here then there should be some sort of reserved area for resort guest.  We finally found a lone chair and put our stuff down and headed out for the Lazy River ride which was fabulous and anything but lazy!

It took 20 minutes from start to finish, and we rode it a lot!  The best part of the day was around 3:00pm when all the cruise ship people left.  They water park was like a ghost town and so much more enjoyable!  Colin headed off to ride some of the slides alone and then I joined him to ride the slide that had the tube through the shark tank.

Let me be honest . . . it was not near as awesome as it looks on TV.  Sorry Atlantis you make this place look so much grander on TV than it really is BUT we did had fun.  We called it a day . . . grabbed dinner and back to room because I was t-i-r-e-d!  Oh and of course a sweet treat on the balcony!
